PRODUCT BRIEF: DESIGN A NIKE SHOE THAT TAKES THE ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENTS OF THE SPACE NEEDLE IN SEATTLE, WA.
NIKE SPACEVIEW
The Space Needle is Seattle’s most unmistakable icon in the sky.
When it first opened in 1962, the top was painted a bold orange, a color that stood out against the city’s backdrop.
I wanted to capture that spirit in a Nike sneaker design, blending architectural inspiration with wearable style.
The palette tells the story with the tan for the Needle’s concrete base, orange for the original top, black for the central support structure and blue for the reflective glass-wrapped viewing deck.
The result is a design that celebrates both Seattle’s history and its forward-looking tribute you can wear on your feet.
I used procreate for the sketch, NewArc for the AI rendering and Photoshop for all the touchups.
What local landmark would you like to see reimagined into footwear?
