It started with my pug, Mac. One afternoon I was giving him nicknames the way we all do with our pets. Macaroni stuck. I got curious and did some digging. In the 18th century, macaroni was slang for the most stylish people in any room. They wore towering powdered wigs, dressed loud on purpose and threw pasta parties just to show off their latest looks. They were the original tastemakers who dressed to be seen.
That spirit is what Maccaroni is built on. Every piece is made for people who would rather stand out than blend in and who treat getting dressed as a way to say something. I gave the name an extra C to make it my own and to nod to my last name. Put it on and be the most stylish person in the room.
