Design a Reebok basketball shoe that blends a retro model with a new low top release.
Been working on this Reebok basketball concept. The idea came from mixing two models I always liked, the Engine A and the ES22. I wanted to see what a future version could look like, something bold and built for movement. I started with loose sketches on my iPad, just playing with shape and flow, then used NewArc.ai to build out early renders in 3D. From there I took it into Photoshop to clean up details, tweak colorways and build the backgrounds. It was a fun mix of sketching, AI tools and editing. A lot of my designs are high tops because I think low tops leave ankles under-supported, which plays into the rise in basketball injuries.
